SPLT and the South Portland Planning Office are teaming up to host a virtual workshop to explore what kind of place South Portland should be in the future. What should we protect, improve, or enhance in our community?

A Comprehensive Plan is the guiding document for South Portland’s future and the City is in the process—12 years after the adoption of our current plan—of revisiting these questions and goals. The Comp Plan update effort will help define a (new) shared vision for the community, with goals and an action plan for how to realize that vision! 

Join the SPLT Board and members of the Trails and Lands committee to think through how open space should be treated in the City's new Comp Plan in a series of exercises and activities facilitated by the SoPo Planning Dept.
